Tom Saccio | Matco Brakes
In doing the Annual on my plane it was discovered that the drums and one axle had worn beyond repair. So I called Matco to order new parts. The parts had to be made because they are apparently now stocking them anymore. It has taken over two months to get the parts I needed. If you feel that you might need parts for your brakes, don't wait till the last minute.

So what are our alternatives? New brakes? Magnetic Breaking?

Hi Tom, Mike and Seawind friends. I installed the new Matco brake system several years back and figured that if push came to shove I would put on the original Seawind Brakes. Not as good as Matco but was O K for the first several years of my Seawind flying. Something to be said for not throwing anything away. See you soon in N. Y. Keith P S Flew the AirVenture Cup Race again this year. 12 Consecutive Years !!! Should I try for the big 13 next year??? It starts in Mitchel So. Dakota. Love to have company, Amphbian like instead them Lancairs and Glasairs Keith N80CC
