Russ Kotlarek | Oshkosh Airventure 2012

Again Oshkosh is but a week away July 23rd through the 29th. I heard Kieth was flying in the race again this year but thought I would ask if anyone else is likely to be in town for the event?

Hi Seawinders Just finished my tour of the Air Venture Race from Mitchell South Dakota to OshKosh on Sunday July 22 and then the full week at the Show. Bigger and better than ever. Beat my previous race speeds with a 191.65 MPH. avg. speed over the courase with one pylon turn. My oldest son"s wife wanted to fly as my copilot in the race as she is about to get her private pilot ticket. Wow , She (Dana) loves to fly. Also I have some valuable Seawind information that I want to disclose at Tom Saccios Splash--In It is revelutionary and can provide vast positive results for Seawind Owners, Pilots Repairmen, Planemakers Etc.. Dont miss it. It is documented tried and tested. Tom I will need a fourm of about 30 min. PLEASE Keith Walljasper N80CC P. S. Can only disclose at Toms It is a Show And Tell Performance Beleive me. !!!!!!

Keith, I was there from Sunday to Wednesday. Saw your plane front and center!

Did you get a chance to see the Lisa Aircraft? What an amazing airplane. Everything so nicely thought out: the hydrofoils make porpoising impossible (yes they work - saw it on video); air rudder is partially submerged so it acts as a water rudder; folding wings; center section of the horizontal stab is pitched to fix the pitch issue with the high engine; fuel tank in the airplane body, so no fuel autotransfer issues; the list goes on - very well thought out. Frankly, a better plane than the Icon A5, albeit much more expensive.

They've got a long way to getting US certification, but if and when they do, it'll be an extraordinary amphib.
Working...
