    gderamel | MAC Servo Replacements

Anyone looking for replacement Menzimer Aircraft Components (MAC) servo (part #4A)... you can find the EXACT replacement at Aircraft Spruce... RAC Electric Servo part# T2-7A ($145).

gderamel | Better Servo from Ray Allen (Bristol S.G.)

Just spoke to Ray at Ray Allen Company who said Seawind switched from the Ray Allen T2-7A (shortest throw) to the T3-12A (longest) years ago, because of problems with the T2-7A servo (loads too great for the shorter throw servo from the "barn door size trim").

Now, Ray Allen's industrial arm, Bristol S.G. has come out with a stronger (statically tested 2.5x stronger) with the B6-11C actuator (C stands for clevis). Link to the cut-sheet.

Hoping I'll have better luck with the new B6 servo; owned the airplane 4 months and already gone through two T2-7A.

Working...
