Mike | It's not who you know or where you go, because you will always know someone!
Have you ever heard the saying it's not what you know it's who you know? Well in my case it not who you know because wherever I go I always know someone. Yes, I could go to the other end of the world and I would see someone I know. it never ceases to amaze me. A few years ago in the middle of the ocean on a cruise in the caribbean I turn a corner on the ship and..., yep a neighbor is staring me in the face. Well today I am sitting poolside in Aruba. Have you guessed where this going yet? Yes you are right, however I did not meet him poolside although I'll bet he was. About 10:15 yesterday morning I was sitting at JFK in NYC waiting to board the airplane and the copilot walked by.....nope he wasn't the one. Then the stewardesses sauntered by..DAM not them either. Ok so by now you have to had guesses the pilot. None other than the American airlines pilot, captain John Riccittoi (sp, sorry John). Well it never fails. After the 4.5 hour ride, we had a chance to talk. John is flying the big birds from to NYC to Aruba and is doing well. John mentioned that he has not been working on his seawind however plans on working on it this summer. He also mentioned that he will be going to sun n fun. John, great to see you again, keep in touch!
Safe landings.......see ya
