Hello, Is your actuaror also leaking? Don't worry, all my actuators are. My OLEO was leaking too (SAME COMPANY)I did send it in to "ALAN" They didn't find anything wrong to it, but made me pay for a new one, I finaly got it yesterday, but they used all the parts from the old one with the exception of: The Piston and the Cylinder + the CAP is new, different colours: the piston is bluish and the cylinder is purpel. I hope the new one doesn't leak! I'm going to check it under 600psi pressure before replacing it.(I'm sure, that they didn't even check my old one!) That's the way it is. We are still in the DC3 age 1930's? Keep having Fun, Leon

Hello Mike, I tried to get in contact with Control Line; impossible to get even an answer! No it was Tom, who gave me the address of: ALAN STADLIN" I finaly have the Oleo problem solved. The Landing gear actuators as well as the Flap actuator can go on leaking for the time being! I hope I have my fuel gauges sensors working correctly, after they had coroded and I build them out and in, after cleaning the resistance contacts and changing the bolts with stainless steal ones. This is a pain in the neck, as you have to get them out and build them in with one hand in the blind. I have 8 sensors in the four tanks. I used PERMATEX form a gasket. No good; leaking in Hydraulic, as well as, on fuel fittings. I finaly had to take teflon tape, which cured the leaks. (I wouls send photos, if I knew how I could do this? Have fun, Leon

for leaking hyd cyl oleos ect i recomend adding "granville strut seal" to the hyd res. we've used in Alaska for 40 years works great. Told the air force about it and it fixed the problems on the c5as' hyd leaks. Aircraft spruce stocks it now. Have fun at the splash in---Dean
