Anyone have a supplier for landing gear squat switches, made by MICRO SWITCH, Freeport, IL (MO# V72A17D8 263)? I tried Google and Aircraft Spruce, but both came up empty.

Another way to do that is with a hermetically sealed proximity switch. I have hundreds. It is a reed switch and a magnet. let me know if you want a few to try.

Hermetic sealed prox switches are a great idea! I have gear switch & squat switch problems on my C182RG & it never goes swimming.

Try using alarm contacts. You can purchase contacts with gaps as wide as 2"
