mike reibling | Default 3480 New seawind owner - Mike Reibling
Hello, my name is Mike Reibling from Regina Sask Canada and in July 2008 my wife Kristle and I purchased a SeaWind from the estate of the late George Osborne. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the group and share a little bit about myself. I have spent the last 30 years in high purity water treatment and have hobbies of Hang Gliding and building an RV6A which looks like it may not get finished now. I would like to start by saying thanks to a few people who helped me along with my decision to purchase a SeaWind. Thank you to Len Carlson for showing me his aircraft back in the 1990's which started my dream of owning my own. Also, for more recently taking me on a flight which confirmed my decision to buy. A big thank you to Jack Ardoyno for all his first class training and Lyndia Ardoyno for her patience and hospitality. And more recently another big thanks to John at Plane Makers for his help in pointing me in the right direction for parts. Since July I have had the opportunity to get over 80 hours on the plane and in the last 2 weeks I was able to get started on water landings. So far the Seawind has exceeded all my expectations. My wife and I look forward to meeting all of you and hope to travel and share many adventures with you. Mike & Kristle Reibling mr99@accesscomm.ca 306-539-3313
