Greetings & Salutations, I hope all are well.
As per your requests at the splash-in, I made some changes today:
1-There is a new Category named MEDICAL
Feel free to post anything medical related.
2-Phone Numbers
Within your personal “User CP” control panel you will now be able to add your phone number(s) if you wish.
-In the blue bar across the top of the main page click on User CP
-Your control panel
-Your Profile
-Click on …. Edit Your Details
-Scroll down to the bottom and add your numbers
-Save
If you want anything else added, let me know…….
3-Avatar Size The avatar size can not be enlarged or decreased. Some time in the near future all the avatars will be the same size. The issue is the amount of space provided by the web host or the people we pay to host our site. We are allotted 250mb and we currently have 5mb left. If we add more pictures and enlarge existing pictures we will have to purchase more space. So with this in mind, avatar size will remain small. This brings up another issue of the pictures we are uploading directly into the forum. It is better if we can link to another site to view the pictures.
4-Passwords
Passwords can be changed by you at any time by clicking on “User CP”.
-In the blue bar across the top of the main page click on User CP
-Your control panel
-Your Profile
-Click on ….Edit Email & Password
-Change

Is it possible to allow us to assign our own "screen name" I for one obviously cannot recall my name. Seems easy but if ti is case sensitive then it could be a number of ways. likewise it coudl be Russ, or Russell I can never remember it. However, I do use a common screen name in most other sites and if I could use that my life for one would be easier.
Likewise, being as there is nothing of critical security here and the likelihood of someone trying to hack into our site seems minimal can we remove the 5 count login security and let us try forever if we are not able to recall the login and password, ...

Hi Russ,
*I belive the screen name you refer to is the user name...? If so, currently the only way the user name can be changed is to have me do that in software. There aren't any provisions in the code to allow this request directly from the user. Hey....you signed on.......Ok. Let me know what you want and I'll change it
*Granted, there really isn't anything of national security on this site however several times a week IP's from china, russia, and other european countries try to get in. I have tracked several IP's recently to china. Those that constantly try to get in are banned from trying. In reference to your request I sorted thru the software/code and again presently there isn't any way to adjust this number.
The password can be changed in your "CP" control panel at any time. Once changed, I can't see them.
