    Mike | 11-21-09 New Items

Below the categories you will find new areas in which to immerse yourself.

SAM'S are "Seawind Airworthiness Modifications" Posted here after the lenghty discussion from the main categories, they are Modifications That Seawind Builders Have Offered As Solutions To Problems. They will Include Bulletins & Alerts that were in the manuals. This area has been added so YOU the Builder and RE-Builder can publish valid safety concerns and solutions. These posts (a condensed list) should be concise since the detailed explanation will be posted in the proper category.

SEAWIND REGISTRY - One click on the main header will bring you to the old registry. Clicking on the sub header will open the new registry. The idea is to track progress by letting the "builder " add notes. The notes should be about the progress of the building process only. Since only the builder will be able to add notes; questions should be placed in the proper category so all can view and answer. If you see information on the net such as "seawind for sale" or other info, you can forward it to me and I will post it. Side note: Using the search feature will prove to be helpfull here.

SEAWIND PILOTS WEBSITE will transport you there.

SEAWIND PILOTS OLD DISCUSSION BOARD will eventually take you there without a password.

As always - If you have any ideas about the formentioned, please reply below.

rwolf | Password to gain access to New ItemsMike,

    Mike,

Sorry if I missed this but my normal login password does not allow me access to the New Items or VBulletin Messages areas of the site.

How do I get the correct password?

    Thanks.

    Hi Dick,

Try it now. I was testing a way to password protect each sub category and forgot to set it back.

    Editing Registry

    Mike,

How does one edit and add Builder's Comments to the registry section? I've tried everything I can think of without success. There are errors and missing data in my plane's section I'm trying to fix.

    Thanks.

The registry section is not really ready yet. Each kit number will eventually be under the kit owners name as the poster instead of mine. Once that is done the posts will only be entered or changed by the kit owner. Once the main body of information is correct, the builder should add "threads" under the main post to update their own registry.

Go to http://seawindpilots.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227 to see the format

    Seawind Registration

The new registration is almost complete. If your kit and name appear in the list, you can edit your information. Please do not add to the information in the 1st post....only edit and save. To add new information, while viewing your information; "Add Continuing Builders Comments By Clicking On "Post Reply" Below:" your main post.

If you can't get in or your info is not there, please send me a note.
