mike reibling | Very cool place for Seawinds to stay

Two days ago my wife Kristle and I set out for a trip from Western Canada to the Canadian Maritimes. We are currently at a wonderful place called Killarney Mountain Lodge in Killarney Ontario. This is the place that the Lake Amphibian guys have an annual event. We have been told that approx 40 planes arrive and park on the front lawn of the lodge during this event.
This place is great. There is a protected channel to land in, a nice ramp to taxi up on, and you can park on the lawn of the lodge. The owners are very seaplane friendly people. It does not get any better than this.

Mike, thanks for the tip. It's great to get info like yours to fun Seawind destinations. We should have a whole separate category in the Forum for Seawind Travel Destinations!
If you haven't already, swing-by Henry's Fish Restaurant, San Souci Island, Georgian Bay, Lake Ontario.
Note: No ramp and the docks can be crowded with lots o'seaplanes.
