Hi. Seawinders. Back on the Events page is buried this "THREAD" from5/23/2010 which reads as follows: Here it is Entry time again for the Airventure Cup Race. Race start location, Mitchell South Dakota direct to Oshkosh Wisc. The racers will arive at Mitchell on the 24th July and race on Sunday the 25th. I'm flying it again this year (Ninth Year for N80CC) I've always enjoyed the thrill of (The Race) but it's has not been the same since other Seawinds have droped out Art Culver George Osborn Mike Bowes. I would love to see some of the current flying Seawinds enter and fly. It's a thrill of a life time. For information go online toAventurecup.com and follow the promts. Hi Mike I talked with Dick Keyt tonight and he said that he could help you with the insrrance part of the air race req. Dick is a long time race participant and this year is handling insurance for EAA. PS. I hope this is all about the fun because I just lost 5 knots off my speed on the trip out to Nova Scotia and I'll be dammed if I can find out why.
