Getting the horse before the cart....now that I am a new Seawind owner, I have been advised that the Seawind needs 3 1/2 feet of water to exit onto a ramp. I have about 50 + feet of shallow "muck" prior to shore. I was planning on a 20' wide, maybe 30' long ramp (not 50'). I doubt the Corp of Engineers will approve such a structure and dredging probably is not an option either. Anyone have knowledge of a "rail system" that I could float onto a cradle, gear up, and power up the rail/cradle? Or winch up? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David Eastis

Hummmm, I see some nighttime activities planed. Better to do and then ask for forgiveness. A rail system could be rather easy to construct. Wouldn't u need permission to anchor a rail system? Google boat rail systems.
